Yes, I said it. I love Jesus, He is my Lord and Savior. It is truly shameful to call myself a Christian. I am grouped in with the typical judgemental assholes that you see standing on podiums yelling through megaphones “Judgement is coming!”. It’s quite pathetic if you ask me.
Last night, I tweeted about the overturning of proposition 8. I am truly happy because this is the start of the movement toward the whole country being able to marry freely. My twitter is connected to my facebook, so this comment caused a bit of turmoil. My aunt and uncle attacked my faith asking how I could call myself a Christian and condone their sinful nature? Hmm. I condone your sinful nature, or just deal with it.
It’s such a close-minded view, I can’t stand it. Your first ammendment clearly states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
